Hovershotz are a preferred drone contractor to the BBC. Here is some of our drone filming for the Travel Show. We provided the aerial filming at Honister Slate Mine in the Lake District Cumbria. This was extremely challenging as the wind speed was in excess of 35 mph but our DJI Inspire 2 performed flawlessly (our Mavic Pro 2 would have been blown away). It also involved our drone operator having to scale the Via Ferrata with the drone in it’s custom backpack to get to the filming locations, thankfully Hovershotz are equipped and experienced in providing drone filming solutions in the English Lake District.
